Procurement Specialist – Sheffield

A leading organisation is seeking an Interim Procurement Specialist to join its procurement team in Sheffield. Operating within a complex and collaborative environment, the business is focused on delivering value through effective sourcing, supplier management and strategic procurement activity across UK and global operations. Working on a hybrid basis, with a mix of home and site-based working, you will support procurement objectives, develop stakeholder relationships, and contribute to procurement initiatives. Your responsibilities include managing end-to-end procurement activities, developing contracts, ensuring compliance, and analysing market and spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities. The role involves collaborating with international teams, sharing insights, and supporting global category strategies and projects. Proven procurement, sourcing or category management experience, strong commercial awareness, supplier relationship management skills, and experience with contracts and procurement systems are essential.
