The Senior Applied Scientist will advance pre-training methodologies for Generative AI models and work closely with customers, researchers, and engineers.
You will explore scaling laws, hardware-aware model design, and low-precision training to maximize efficiency.
You will design and evaluate optimization methods, learning objectives, and curriculum strategies, along with self-supervised learning approaches.
You will define learning objectives, apply reinforcement learning techniques, and conduct efficient hyperparameter searches.
You will develop distributed training solutions and contribute to AI-assisted research for LLMs and multimodal systems.
You will collaborate with academic and industry partners to push the envelope of GenAI capabilities and customer experiences.
