De functie

A front end engineer is responsible for developing high-performance React and TypeScript applications supporting electronic trading platforms, managing real-time market data and enhancing user interfaces. They contribute to their teams through design, development and maintenance of responsive, low-latency trading applications, collaborating with backend engineers and implementing automated testing. The role requires expertise in browser performance optimisation, asynchronous programming and modern front-end technologies including WebSockets and messaging systems. Knowledge of React, TypeScript, and tools like Playwright or Cypress is essential. Responsibilities also involve migration of legacy systems and deployment via CI/CD pipelines into container-based environments. Candidates should demonstrate strong software engineering fundamentals and experience working in Agile teams.
