De functie
The Editorial Lead at Birmingham City Football Club oversees the development and management of the club's written voice across various digital and print platforms. They craft engaging, fan-focused content aligned with the club's branding and marketing strategies and develop core football stories that support wider club campaigns. This role requires close collaboration with creative, marketing, PR, and commercial teams to ensure consistent tone and compelling storytelling. The successful individual will be responsible for editorial planning, content optimisation, and performance analysis using analytics tools. They must possess excellent written English, strong storytelling skills, and experience in brand communications, digital content, and stakeholder management. Familiarity with SEO, digital channels, and sports editorial experience are highly desirable.
