De functie
Develop evaluation frameworks for autonomous vehicle performance, large-scale ML models, and the quality of simulation.
Create new metrics, interpret trends, and investigate anomalies in data from both simulation and on-road driving.
Design novel statistical methods to address AV-specific challenges, such as rate estimation for rare events and combining real and synthetic data.
Frame ambiguous problems, scope technical priorities, and innovate on statistical methods to drive data-driven decisions.
Communicate data-driven conclusions to senior stakeholders and establish yourself as the lead for a major project area.
Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to support deployment readiness and mentor other data scientists.
