The role
Manage litigation cases from inception to resolution, focusing on real estate, title, mortgages, foreclosure, and creditor’s rights in Texas.
Handle pre-litigation matters and title clearance for real property; coordinate discovery and strategy.
Develop and obtain approval for budgets and legal strategy; perform risk analysis and legal research.
Draft and argue pleadings and motions; conduct all aspects of discovery; communicate case progress to supervising partner and clients.
Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences by phone, video, or in person; assist with bankruptcy motions and adversary proceedings as needed.
Qualifications: JD from an accredited law school; Texas bar admission with licensing and MCLE; 1–4 years of litigation preferred; familiarity with foreclosure/real estate or creditor’s rights a plus.
