The role
Lead Data Scientist at the Director level (IC) responsible for shaping data strategy, analytics governance, and hands-on ML/AI delivery.
Translate business problems into technical data problems, collaborating with product and engineering to design prototypes and production-grade code.
Experiment with in-house and third-party data, build data transformations for structured and unstructured data, and develop modeling and scoring algorithms.
Monitor model performance in production and automate the predictive pipeline to minimize manual effort.
Contribute to shared predictive analytics infrastructure and craft dashboards and reports for leadership.
Hybrid role based in Austin, TX, with 5-10% travel; requires strong collaboration, communication, and leadership in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
