The role
We are seeking a Staff Research Scientist to advance the safety and security of generative AI systems.
Focus areas include probing LLM vulnerabilities (e.g., jailbreaking, prompt injection) and developing robust defense mechanisms.
You will design evaluation methodologies to enhance the reliability and safety of AI agents, with emphasis on privacy-preserving approaches.
Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to translate research findings into production-ready solutions.
Maintain an active agenda of publications in top AI and security venues and contribute to the broader research community.
Hybrid role in Austin, TX (Partial remote) with 5-10% travel; PhD in a related field and strong AI security research experience preferred.
