The role
Overview: This AVP-level role serves as the principal legal advisor on strategic transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, minority investments, and other partnership arrangements. You will oversee the legal aspects of the full transaction lifecycle—from structuring and term sheet negotiations through diligence, definitive documentation, regulatory approvals, closing, and post-close integration. You will collaborate closely with corporate development, finance, tax, regulatory, antitrust, HR, and operations teams, as well as external counsel and counterparties, to ensure transactions support the company’s strategic and financial objectives. Office presence is required at least 5 days per week in Dallas; no relocation is offered.
