The role
We are seeking a qualified Legal Counsel specialized in construction law to provide clear, pragmatic legal and commercial guidance across UK contracts and projects.
Lead drafting, review, and negotiation of construction and facilities management agreements, NEC4, JCT, Model Forms, and bespoke contracts.
Draft and negotiate professional appointments, collateral warranties, bonds, guarantees, and security documents.
Assess and manage legal and commercial risk, train teams on legal, regulatory and commercial issues, and support governance processes.
Instruct external counsel, manage external fees, and provide preliminary advice on disputes and potential litigation.
Balance legal risk with commercial objectives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while maintaining strong internal and external relationships.
