The role
Provide nursing care as a bilingual LVN under supervision in a full-time internal medicine setting, adhering to scope of practice and established standards.
Assist with procedures, minor surgeries, diagnostic exams, medication administration, wound care, and infection control using aseptic technique.
Assess and monitor patient conditions, vital signs, and responses to treatments; escalate to physicians when appropriate.
Perform venipuncture, specimen collection, EKGs, inhalation therapy, and basic emergency procedures including CPR.
Educate patients, explain tests and procedures, and provide general health and self-care guidance.
Maintain documentation, confidentiality, equipment readiness, and adherence to safety protocols.
