The role
Analyze inventory, transportation, and warehousing data to drive cost reduction and service improvements.
Develop and maintain KPIs and dashboards (OTIF, freight cost per unit, inventory turns) and present data-driven insights to leadership.
Assess inbound, outbound, and intercompany freight; support carrier selection, RFPs, and rate benchmarking.
Identify opportunities for mode optimization, consolidation, and route efficiency to balance service levels and total cost.
Analyze inventory levels, safety stock, and network footprint; monitor slow-moving stock and support site consolidation efforts.
Partner with Planning, Operations, Procurement, and Finance; support ERP/TMS/WMS data integrity and cross-functional process improvements.
