The role
Liverpool Philharmonic seeks a skilled violin/viola player to work with children and young people aged 8-18 within an inclusive community music programme. The role involves delivering instrumental tuition, ensemble leadership, performances, and music-based activities designed to enhance confidence, wellbeing, and social skills. Candidates should demonstrate high-level musicianship, experience with diverse age groups, and a passion for social impact through music. The position requires collaboration with local schools, community partners, and fellow musicians to create innovative learning experiences. Flexibility is necessary, with work primarily during weekdays and some evenings and weekends, subject to programme needs.
