The role
Serve as the strategic head of Safety ML, shaping a scalable program to detect and prevent abuse and harmful content at scale.
Build and grow a multidisciplinary team of researchers and engineers, guiding applied research, model development, and productionization.
Develop and deploy cutting-edge systems, including fine-tuned LLMs and transformer models, to improve detection quality, latency, and efficiency.
Collaborate across Trust & Safety, Product, Moderation, and AI/ML Platform to identify risks, new harm vectors, and automation opportunities.
Oversee experimentation, model evaluation, lifecycle management, and policy-aligned deployment with emphasis on precision, recall, explainability, and safety compliance.
Champion responsible AI, measure impact with robust metrics, and represent the function externally at conferences and industry forums.
