The role

The role involves developing and supporting scalable cloud-native applications using Python, with a focus on AWS services, infrastructure automation, and DevOps practices. The candidate will build and deploy Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, and support CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins. They will work across the full software lifecycle, collaborating with architecture, DevOps, and product teams to ensure high-quality, reliable solutions. Troubleshooting production issues and optimising application performance are key responsibilities. The position requires experience with REST APIs, microservices, container technologies, and healthcare interoperability standards. Familiarity with large digital transformation projects, NHS or government experience, and scripting skills are essential.
