The role
A busy day nursery in Manchester requires a part-time nursery housekeeper to perform daily cleaning of children's rooms, conduct weekly deep cleans, and handle laundry responsibilities. The role involves restocking hygiene points, cleaning public areas, and ensuring all spaces remain hygienic and safe. The housekeeper will oversee external contractors and adhere to all health and safety policies, including the safe use of cleaning chemicals and COSHH regulations. Working hours are Tuesday to Friday from 5.30pm to 8.00pm and Saturdays from 8.30am to 2.30pm, with additional hours possible. A full DBS check is necessary, and candidates must have at least one year of commercial cleaning experience. The role is in person and offers benefits such as company events, pension, health programmes, and on-site parking.
