The role
A shuttering carpenter is responsible for constructing and installing formwork for reinforced concrete structures on a large-scale high-rise development. Duties include setting out timber and proprietary formwork systems, reading construction drawings, and assembling materials. They will install shutters, ensure correct alignment, and dismantle formwork post-curing safely. The role requires experience, a relevant CSCS card, and the ability to work both independently and within a team. Candidates must follow health and safety guidelines, work at height, and deliver quality work on time. This position offers long-term employment, with opportunities for ongoing work on major construction sites along the South Coast.
