The role
The Food Safety Auditor conducts audits across food manufacturing, distribution, and packaging sites, reporting to the Regional Manager. The role involves evaluating food safety programmes, pest management, operational practices, and hygiene standards, with detailed reporting and follow-up actions. Candidates should possess a degree in food science or related discipline and have a proven track record in food safety or auditing. Extensive travel across Belgium, France, and the Netherlands is required, necessitating a full driving licence and fluency in English and French. Industry-recognised auditing qualifications such as Lead Auditor are advantageous. The role is largely home-based within the UK, Belgium, or Northern France, with a salary range of £45,000 to £50,000 annually and benefits including a car allowance and health insurance.
