The role
Provide proactive, strategic legal guidance on a wide range of employment law matters across multiple states, partnering with HR and business leaders.
Draft, review, and update employment policies, handbooks, letters, separation agreements, and restrictive covenants to support compliance and risk mitigation.
Monitor federal, state, and local employment regulations, interpret their impact, and translate requirements into practical business solutions.
Lead or coordinate internal trainings and respond to subpoenas, government inquiries, and information requests as needed.
Oversee outside counsel on employment and business litigation matters, including strategy, budgeting, and settlements.
Collaborate cross-functionally within the legal team and across departments to advance objectives while safeguarding the company.
