The role
The role involves designing and implementing AWS cloud architectures to support migration projects, working closely with clients to understand their requirements and develop reusable patterns for cloud adoption. The engineer will lead technical migration efforts, define standards and architectures, and optimise processes through automation and scripting. They will review and improve existing cloud platforms, ensuring security, scalability, and efficiency, while supporting engineering teams with troubleshooting and incident management. The position requires solid experience with AWS, cloud architecture, and DevOps tools, along with strong communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams. Additional skills in security, agile practices, and stakeholder management are highly desirable. The role involves a mixture of remote and on-site work in accordance with flexible working arrangements.
