The role
Provide accurate, confidential interpretation between English and ASL or other spoken languages.
Interpret across educational, medical, legal, community, business, and virtual settings with professionalism and cultural sensitivity.
Prepare for assignments to ensure context and accuracy; maintain neutrality and adhere to confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines.
ASL interpreters: fluent in ASL and English; RID/NAD certification preferred.
Spoken language interpreters: fluent in English and at least one additional language; professional experience and certifications like CCHI, NBCMI or state court beneficial.
Must be dependable, punctual, and able to handle flexible scheduling; remote opportunities available; strong interpersonal and communication skills.
