The role
AXA is seeking a Principal AI Engineer to lead the development of innovative AI solutions and strategic engineering across the company. You will drive the vision for full-stack engineering within AI and AIOps, shaping architecture and standards for scalable cloud-native apps in Azure. You will mentor senior engineers, guide Agentic AI frameworks, and ensure cost-efficient, reliable platform evolution while collaborating with cross-functional teams. The role requires strong leadership, experience with cloud platforms, AI development skills, and knowledge of scalable architecture. Candidates should have expertise in AI frameworks, engineering standards, and cloud environments, particularly Azure.
