The role
Provide strategic, practical legal guidance on higher education matters in a fast-paced environment.
Counsel on student and faculty affairs, contracts, compliance, and governance to support institutional objectives.
Draft, negotiate, and review contracts, MOUs, vendor agreements, and employment agreements with an eye for risk mitigation.
Manage legal records, respond to requests, and assist with litigation or claims management as needed.
Review policies and handbooks; support campus safety initiatives and awareness training on Title IX, FERPA, HIPAA, and related laws.
Collaborate with internal and external counsel and stay current on state and federal regulatory changes.
