Strategic Finance Manager - Technical Services
Lead the Technical Accounting Function to deliver high-quality financial statements, treasury and tax strategies in a dynamic authority setting. Prepare comprehensive financial accounts and provide expert accounting advice to support major projects and statutory reporting. Act as the liaison between Finance and non-finance teams, ensuring accurate accounting for complex organisational structures. Oversee treasury management, borrowing, taxation activities, and compliance with the Local Authority Accounting Code of Practice. Drive audit readiness and co-ordinate with external auditors while upholding governance and risk controls. Collaborate across departments to enable informed decision-making and contribute to strategic financial planning and delivery.
