The role
Imperial College London seeks to appoint permanent faculty members at the assistant or associate professor level in disciplines related to immunology or microbiology. These roles involve developing research programmes, supervising students and staff, and publishing in peer-reviewed journals. The appointees will also be responsible for delivering lectures, setting exams, and examining students at all levels. Candidates should hold a PhD or equivalent, have a developing international reputation, and demonstrate success in research funding and publication. Experience in mentoring students and managing research projects is essential, along with strong communication skills. The positions are based at the South Kensington Campus, with a hybrid working model, and start during the 2026-27 academic year.
