Cook – Rothley

The Cook at Mountview is responsible for planning and preparing appealing, nutritious meals tailored to residents’ preferences and dietary needs. They work closely with the Kitchen Manager to ensure the kitchen operates efficiently and uphold the ethos of creating ambient dining experiences during mealtimes. The role involves adhering to safeguarding policies, recognising signs of harm or neglect, and attending relevant training to handle concerns appropriately. Candidates should possess good organisation skills, a collaborative attitude, and experience in food preparation within a care setting. Technical competencies include meal planning, food safety standards, and basic kitchen equipment operation. The position offers a supportive working environment with a focus on resident wellbeing and team development.
