The role
This entry-level Associate Auditor role supports the Office of Inspector General's Audit & Inspections Division in promoting integrity across health and human services programs.
You will assist in planning, fieldwork, testing, and reporting, developing audit objectives, scope, and procedures under supervision.
Responsibilities include evaluating compliance with laws and policies, assessing IT and general controls, and identifying key risks and controls.
You will document work, draft findings, and contribute to actionable recommendations for program improvement.
Strong time management, data analysis, and communication skills are essential to meet deadlines and convey results to stakeholders.
The role may require travel up to 25% and may offer telework options, with opportunities for professional certifications.
