The role
A woodworking shop carpenter assembler is responsible for joinery and assembly of wood components, including clamping, gluing, and hardware installation. The role involves measuring using tape measures and calipers, interpreting shop drawings, and operating technical equipment and tools. Additional tasks include glass installation for windows and doors, sanding, priming, painting, staining, and material milling. Candidates should have technical skills in using power and hand tools, and knowledge of architectural millworking. The position requires a minimum of two years' experience in woodworking or carpentry and preferably an AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate. This full-time role is based in person within a workshop environment in Toronto.
