The role
This role centers on applying AI, ML, and optimization to challenges in materials and molecular discovery.
Collaborate with stakeholders to convert ambiguous problems into well-defined graph-based ML or optimization tasks.
Design and manage data pipelines to collect, clean, and analyze structured and unstructured data from experiments and chemical databases.
Develop predictive models and advanced deep learning frameworks (GNNs, Transformers) for motif discovery and property prediction.
Leverage Generative AI and LLMs to automate knowledge discovery and explore new formulations and synthesis pathways.
Define KPIs, contribute to a Virtual Lab, publish and patent innovations, and collaborate with chemists and materials scientists to translate research into practical solutions.
