The role
A Clinical Psychologist is responsible for delivering high-quality psychological assessment and intervention for cancer patients, working within a multidisciplinary team. They will utilise evidence-based practices across various formats, including individual and group work, to support clients' mental health and well-being. The role involves supervising staff, developing training programmes, and contributing to organisational research efforts. Candidates should have postgraduate doctoral training in clinical or counselling psychology and be eligible for chartered status with the BPS. The position requires excellent communication skills, experience in research, and the ability to manage psychological risks within the centre.
