The role
An HCPC registered clinical psychologist is sought for a flexible freelance role conducting psychological assessments and preparing medico-legal reports mainly for personal injury cases. The responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments using evidence-based methods and psychometric tools, to evaluate cognitive, emotional, and behavioural aspects relevant to legal cases. The psychologist will complete a structured pro-forma and validate reports drafted by administrative staff, ensuring compliance with legal standards. The role requires extensive experience in assessment, report writing, and medico-legal work, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently. The position offers flexible working hours, ongoing professional development, and opportunities to engage in complex legal cases. Travel to clinics across England and Wales will be necessary, with remote work available after an initial period.
