The role
A Senior Test Engineer at Kainos works within a multi-skilled agile team to develop and execute automated and manual tests to ensure software meets user needs across sectors like healthcare, defence, or public services. Candidates will learn new technologies and collaborate with talented colleagues to develop their skills. They should have proven ability to learn new business domains quickly and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or REST Assured, and familiarity with cloud architectures and continuous integration are essential. Knowledge of testing principles and experience in non-functional testing are required, with desirable skills including API and microservices testing and familiarity with cloud-based platforms.
