The role

As a Research Scientist in the Applied Research team, you design and evaluate innovative algorithms in geometric computer vision and foundation models for deployment in industrial robotics at scale.
You define deep learning processes to mitigate hallucinations, improve accuracy, and assess sim-to-real transfer on robotic workcells.
You guide synthetic data generation and annotations for scalable training of foundation models, based on gaps identified in sim-to-real transfer.
You collaborate with research partners and cross-disciplinary engineers to ideate architectures that bring state-of-the-art foundation models to real-world industrial applications.
You act as a bridge between robotics and research, advising engineering teams to translate AI capabilities into robust software and deployments in high-throughput environments.
You continuously learn and apply the latest developments in deep learning, perception, and robotics, and document prototypes for external use.
