Apprentice Construction Operative (Level 2) based in Staffordshire, focusing on water network infrastructure construction, maintenance, and repair to ensure a reliable supply. You will gain hands-on experience across multiple sites, including new build sites and domestic properties, performing work in all weather. Responsibilities include site setup, safety checks, risk assessment, and ensuring health, safety, and regulatory compliance. Learn to install water mains, water supply pipes, boundary boxes, meters, and to carry out water quality compliance checks. Liaise with customers on site and communicate progress and data to various stakeholders; participate in regular development meetings with mentors and the New Talent Team. The programme provides extensive training, mentoring, and opportunities for progression with ongoing salary progression.
