The role
Provide sign language interpretation to facilitate communication between deaf or hard-of-hearing students and staff in a K-12 setting.
Interpret lessons, discussions, and group activities to ensure equal access to the curriculum.
Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and other school personnel to adapt materials and support learning.
Help cultivate an inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism, adhering to ethical standards.
Based onsite in Warsaw, NC, with access to tools and resources to support daily interpretation and instructional collaboration.
