The role
This internship explores the intersection of Human-Robot Interaction (HRI), robotics, and agentic AI to create user-focused software for real-world robot applications.
You will develop software that leverages generative AI capabilities, including potential LLM agents and agentic systems.
Collaborate with industrial researchers on real-world manufacturing use cases to build innovative user experiences for robotics.
Evaluate novel agentic interfaces for robotics and advance the state-of-the-art in HRI, robotics, and AI.
Identify and alleviate user pain points by analyzing workflows and proposing improvements; contribute to the robotics software platform powering production workflows.
Requirements include pursuing a PhD in Computer Science or Robotics, Python proficiency, hands-on robotics experience a plus, and a passion for solving real-world HRI/AI problems.
