Support Musician – Dundee

A temporary Support Musician role is available in Dundee, involving working with children and young people to develop musical skills and understanding through various methodologies such as Kodaly and Orff Shulwerk. The position requires experience with upper strings, lower strings, wind, or percussion instruments, or general musicianship, with at least grade 5 standard or equivalent. The role focuses on building confidence, teamwork, and aspiration through ensemble and orchestra participation, supporting the delivery of community music programmes. Support Musicians work closely with experienced team members, receive training on lesson planning, positive behaviour, and methodologies, and contribute to creating inclusive and engaging music sessions.
