The role
The Lead Pharmacist in Newcastle is responsible for delivering safe, effective, and patient-centred oncology pharmacy services. They provide clinical leadership, oversee medicines management initiatives, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. The role involves working with electronic prescribing systems, supporting service development, and leading governance activities. Candidates should be GPhC-registered with significant oncology pharmacy experience, preferably within a hospital or cancer centre, and skilled in multidisciplinary collaboration. Organised and detail-oriented, they will manage operational and strategic priorities to improve cancer care.
