Theatre Healthcare Assistant

We are seeking dynamic Theatre Healthcare Assistants to support peri-operative care in a busy operating department. You will deliver direct patient care under supervision, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment. Responsibilities include maintaining theatre cleanliness, participating in cleaning programmes, and ensuring equipment is available and ready. Assist the Scrubbed Practitioner with sterile trolley preparation and replenish supplies using aseptic technique. Support swab, needle and instrument counts and comply with LocSSIPs documentation and infection control standards. Shifts include days, nights, evenings, weekends and on-call; progression from Band 2 to Band 3 after mandatory training and competencies.
