The role
Performs licensing and compliance activities for Long Term Care facilities, ensuring adherence to federal regulations and state statutes.
Assists with issuing licenses and maintaining current licensure through initial and annual inspections and renewals.
Conducts investigations of licensed and unlicensed facilities, reviews quality systems, and tracks corrective actions.
Prepares detailed inspection reports, statements of deficiencies, and communicates changes in license status or regulatory orders.
Provides technical assistance to providers and participates in rulemaking, stakeholder meetings, and cross-functional collaborations.
Requires statewide travel, strong written and oral communication, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities while supporting a diverse workforce.
