Spanish Medical Interpreter/Translator

Role within a multidisciplinary clinical team to ensure accurate, culturally competent interpretation for Spanish-speaking clients across primary care, dental, postpartum, breastfeeding, and nutrition services. Responsibilities include in-person, telephone, and video interpretation; assisting with clinical forms, referrals, and billing explanations; interpreting sensitive topics such as reproductive health, birth control counseling, pregnancy options, domestic violence, child abuse, and HIV/AIDS; coordinating with staff to support efficient service delivery and linking clients to community resources. Requires fluent English and Spanish, DSHS Medical Interpreter Certification, 1-2 years of experience, willingness to interpret reproductive and gender-affirming health care, and adherence to ethical guidelines and confidentiality. Travel to multiple sites may be required, with a schedule of Monday–Thursday, and occasional overtime as needed.
