The role
A skilled plumber is sought to join a busy facilities management team in Cardiff for a permanent position. The role involves carrying out planned and reactive plumbing maintenance, fault finding, repairs, water system checks, and supporting site operations while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. The candidate should have strong health and safety commitment, practical fault-finding skills, and the ability to work independently or within a team environment. Relevant qualifications include NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing and Heating, with experience in plumbing maintenance preferred; Level 2 candidates with practical experience may also be considered. Desirable skills include Legionella Control (L8) and experience in a commercial setting, with opportunities for training provided. The position offers a salary range of £36,490 to £41,555, along with holiday entitlement, pension scheme, flexible benefits, discounts, and community engagement days.
