The role
Provide strategic financial leadership and robust governance across the organisation and its affiliates.
Develop sustainable financial strategies in collaboration with the General Director and Board to support artistic and strategic priorities.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and production of management accounts with strong challenge to planning processes.
Ensure compliance with Arts Council England, Charity Commission, Companies House and other external requirements, including VAT and Gift Aid.
Direct and develop the finance team, improve financial literacy across budget-holders, and implement sound policies and controls.
Maintain an effective governance framework, and manage relationships with auditors, advisers and regulatory bodies.
