The role
QinetiQ in Portsmouth is seeking a DevOps Engineer to deliver and deploy software supporting Royal Navy Combat Systems under NCSISS. You will develop, manage and optimise CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments and maintain secure containerised environments as part of a collaborative team. You will work with software and systems engineers, defence customers and key stakeholders to resolve deployment issues and drive automation for operational efficiency, while ensuring compliance with SC clearance. The role involves technical expertise in automation, containerisation, and security in a defence environment, requiring strong collaboration skills and technical proficiency. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to national security projects in a dynamic technical setting.
