The role
A DevOps Engineer in Portsmouth develops, manages, and optimises CI/CD pipelines, automates deployments, and maintains secure containerised environments. They work closely with software and systems engineers, as well as defence stakeholders, to ensure seamless integration and operation of complex systems. The role involves troubleshooting infrastructure issues, developing automation solutions, and producing technical documentation to support operational efficiency. Candidates should possess experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Ansible, Docker, and CI/CD pipeline support, along with strong problem-solving skills. A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field and Security Clearance eligibility are essential. The position offers a collaborative environment focused on innovative defence technology development.
