The role
Lead electrical and mechanical design of aerial camera pod systems, including battery management, network infrastructure, and control electronics.
Perform rapid prototyping, system integration, and hands-on assembly (crimping, soldering, PCB work) for quick iterations.
Read, interpret, and implement wiring diagrams and cabling schematics; independently assemble prototypes with precision.
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans across component, subsystem, and full-system levels; troubleshoot using scopes and analyzers.
Ensure reliability, safety, and EMC/EMI compliance; source components and support production handoff.
Collaborate cross-functionally to meet time-sensitive milestones while supporting field deployment in Daytona Beach, FL.
