The role
Support the Procurement Manager with day-to-day purchasing activities, including sourcing and quoting to meet production needs.
Manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and maintain accurate inventory of materials and supplies.
Source and evaluate suppliers within budget, negotiate pricing, and monitor supplier performance.
Enter and update purchase orders, and verify pricing and terms with vendors.
Review invoices for accuracy and coordinate with accounts payable to ensure timely payments.
Contribute to cost reduction initiatives and cross-functional process improvements within manufacturing operations.
