The role

Plan, lay out, and perform installation, troubleshooting, repair, modification, calibration, testing, and programming of highly complex electrical and electronic control systems in support of steel production.
Troubleshoot AC/DC motor controls, PLCs, electrical drives, and high-voltage systems up to 480 volts; interpret schematics and blueprints.
Perform preventive maintenance on shop machinery, HVAC, PLC networks, pumps, motors, cranes, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems; service or replace worn components.
Install and maintain electronically controlled equipment such as rolling mill loop controls, distribution centers, programmable sequences, and control panels.
Diagnose with diagnostic tools (digital voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and meters) and keep detailed work records of repairs and parts usage.
Collaborate with maintenance and production teams, adhere to NFPA 70E and safety guidelines, and work rotating shifts while meeting physical demands.
