The role
Lead civil design and oversight of city projects including streets, sidewalks, drainage, and parking facilities.
Conduct site inspections for plan compliance and review construction plans for new developments.
Manage stormwater, traffic engineering, street design, and other municipal engineering functions.
Provide technical assistance to the Mayor, City Departments, and boards; serve as a trusted engineering resource.
Participate as a member of the Plan Commission and Technical Review Committee, reviewing plans before meetings.
Act as a liaison to vendors, regulatory agencies, engineers, and the public; attend relevant council and board meetings.
