The role
An established contractor seeks an experienced estimator to prepare and evaluate tenders for reinforced concrete and groundworks projects in Barnsley. The role involves analysing drawings, specifications, and Bills of Quantities to produce accurate rates and manage multiple tenders at various stages. Candidates should have at least three years' estimating experience in construction, particularly within groundworks or reinforced concrete sectors, and be familiar with project values up to £30 million. Strong technical skills in measuring quantities and interpreting technical drawings are essential, along with excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
